NRW Cities Day 2024

The Association of German Cities is a voluntary association of independent and district cities in Germany and a municipal umbrella organization. It represents the common interests of its members vis-à-vis the federal government, the Bundestag and Bundesrat as well as the European Union. Around 3,200 cities and municipalities with around 53 million inhabitants have joined together in the Association of German Cities.
Project:
The regional NRW Association of Cities alternates annually with the national German Association of Cities. At the invitation of the city of Neuss, the general assembly of the North Rhine-Westphalia Association of Cities took place on May 7 and 8, 2024 in the Neuss City Hall under the motto WIR.MACHEN.ZUKUNFT. Guest-One has been handling the entire participant management for both events for several years.
Realization:
The nomination of participants and delegates takes place in a two-stage process. In the first step, the cities nominate their voting delegates and other participants via a secure online portal. After the registration deadline, these participants are digitally invited to the event and register via a corresponding online registration form. Accompanying persons or drivers can also be registered and voting rights can be transferred.
After registering, participants then received a confirmation email including eTickets and further information about the event. Guest-One also took care of the on-site accreditation of the participants and supplied the corresponding check-in stations, card printers and name badges. Two guest managers were responsible for setting up and instructing the additional hostesses and coordinating check-in on both days of the event.
