Electronic Arts - Gamescom 2018

Exciting assignment for Guest-One at Electronic Arts’ (EA) trade show appearance at Gamescom 2018. For the globally active manufacturer of PC and video games, registration for the exclusive Business Lounge and Influencer Hub was implemented on the basis of a specially developed project solution. The standard solution Crew Control was used for the management of all EA stand personnel.

First, the necessary processes and functionalities of the software were defined with the customer in two workshops. The invitation process was of particular importance here, as the guests were not only to be invited by international “coordinators” (country and press managers as well as product managers), but were also to receive predefined time slots for exclusive previews and game tests with the invitation.

For the registration Guest-One implemented an English-language website in EA’s corporate design. After logging in with a personal access code, participants were able to register for the trade fair and add further information to the data already stored. After registering, all guests received an admission ticket with their confirmation email as a PDF as well as a wallet pass for their smartphone.

For the accreditation of guests on site, Guest-One provided not only fixed check-in stations but also various smartphones with a specially developed accreditation app for different access points at the exhibition stand. Three guest managers ensured that everything ran smoothly and that guests were perfectly looked after on the days of the fair.
