FTTH Conference 2018 in Valencia

The FTTH Conference is the main annual event of the FTTH Council Europe, based in Brussels. The FTTH Council is an industry association of global manufacturers and providers of fiber to the home (FTTH) technology. After Marseille, Luxembourg and Warsaw, this year’s conference took place in Valencia, Spain, in February – some 3,000 participants from over 90 countries gathered for the three-day event.

As in the previous years, Guest-One took over the entire congress registration incl. ticketing, payment processing and on-site accreditation. Guest-One also took over the handling of the tax aspects – in the case of events abroad, the sales are also taxable in the country of the event.

Guest-One provided an English-language online portal for congress registration. In addition to numerous ticket and price variants, various voucher and discount codes for exhibitors, partners and sponsors, as well as group bookings and registration for individual parts of the event had to be taken into account and mapped. The payment of the congress fees could be made via all common credit cards as well as via Paypal. Afterwards the automatic invoice and ticket dispatch to the participants took place.

Guest-One provided a total of 12 scanning stations and badge printers for on-site accreditation. In addition, Guest-One set up a new lead management system for exhibitors and sponsors. Using a specially developed app and appropriately configured smartphones, the exhibitors were able to record the badges of the participants and receive the corresponding data by email afterwards. Three project managers from Guest-One ensured smooth support on site. In 2019, the conference will take place in Amsterdam – also with Guest-One as an attendee management partner.
