Grand Basel 2018
Over 100 exceptional vehicles selected by an international jury of experts in an equally exceptional exhibition concept – that was Grand Basel 2018, which took place from 06. to 09 September 2018 was held at Messe Basel.
With the Grand Basel, Swiss Exhibition initiated a completely new form of motor show that attracted collectors, dealers and classic car enthusiasts from all over the world to Basel. In addition to a total of four days open to the public, there were three preview days reserved for VIPs and collectors as well as exhibitors, partners and sponsors. For the invitation and registration management of these exclusive guests Guest-One was brought on board by Messe Schweiz.
The invitation was a combination of high-quality postal and electronic invitations, which were implemented by Guest-One. For the registrations Guest-One set up a registration portal in the corporate design of Grand Basel. By registering for one or more days, guests received an exclusive trade fair ticket as well as a wallet pass and access to a specially created trade fair app. For the exhibitors, partners and sponsors Guest-One provided personalized promotion codes, which could be used by these partners for their own customer mailings. These additional registrations were automatically assigned to the respective partner.
On site Guest-One provided the staff and hardware for the accreditation of the guests. All guests received a high-quality name badge upon check-in to the event, which was printed live within seconds. With this name badge, which was also printed with a scannable QR code, guests were able to enter the exhibition halls through a turnstile system. For this purpose, Guest-One provided an interface to the turnstiles available at the trade fair. Since the crew accreditation was also handled by Guest-One, Guest-One was on site for a total of 14 days with two guest managers and ensured that the entire participant management ran smoothly.
