NRW Association of Cities Conference 2026 in Oberhausen

On June 9 and 10, 2026, the General Assembly of the NRW Association of Cities took place at the Luise-Albertz-Halle in Oberhausen. Under the motto “Capable Cities Now! For a Strong NRW”, delegates and guests from across North Rhine-Westphalia gathered for the state’s largest municipal event.
As part of a diverse program featuring plenary sessions, expert forums, and excursions, participants exchanged views on the challenges facing cities and the resources they need to remain future-ready. In total, around 600 people attended the event.
The General Assembly brought together different participant groups, roles, and organizational requirements. As a result, clear digital processes were essential to reliably support both pre-event registration and on-site event operations.
Guest Management for Complex Participant Structures
With online registration, personalized documents, a coordinator portal, participant management, and on-site support, GuestONE contributed to the structured and seamless execution of the NRW Association of Cities General Assembly 2026.
A key component was the coordinator portal used to nominate guests and delegates from the participating cities. All attendees subsequently registered online using a personal login code. Invitations, confirmation emails, personalized PDF documents, and e-tickets for check-in were distributed digitally.
Through the administration portal, coordinators were able to manage participants, delegates, and voting rights transfers. In addition, a separate coordinator portal was set up for the City of Oberhausen to manage exhibitors.
